Analogue output
A controller output that produces a continuously varying electrical signal.

It sends a commanded value such as 4-20 mA or 0-10 V to another device.

Analogue outputs commonly control valve positioners, drives, setpoints and legacy instrumentation.

Use it when a receiving device expects a proportional analogue command.
